The first thing you need to do is unzip the folder that includes all of your fonts. If you get a zipped (compressed) font file, open the zip archive by double-clicking it.

Right-click the font file, then Install to use

Unzipped font file, double click the font file and fontbook wil display a preview of it.

You can click install font at the bottom right corner of the preview area
